Due to current worldwide conditions derived from COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing international travel restrictions, Motobike Istanbul management team have come to a decision to postpone the event which was scheduled to be held between 25-28 February 2021, after an evaluation process together with our industry partners, associations and exhibitors. New dates of Motobike Istanbul 2021 will soon be announced as we are currently working on our new concept to hold the event in a safe environment and a festive atmosphere as well.

We have taken into consideration the hindrance that the international travel restrictions and Turkish domestic travel restrictions could cause on potential visitors and exhibitor entities, together with our duties towards the elimination of public health risks, as well as many similar international fairs within the industry, we have decided for a postponement. Considering the ongoing vaccination procedures in Turkey and abroad, it is reasonable to think that there will be much better conditions to hold our event at a later date. With this decision taken, we aim to provide a safer environment for our exhibitors, visitors and supporters during Motobike Istanbul to be held in 2021 with a new concept.

One of the most important supporter associations of Motobike Istanbul, Motorcycle Industry Association (MOTED) Chairman, Mr. Basari Erbas have commented on the postponement as follows: “After an evaluation meeting held together with our members, we reached an agreement to express our thoughts for a postponement of Motobike Istanbul 2021 from February to a later date would be more beneficial for the industry and it would minimize the risk of a health issue for the visitors and employees at the venue. By experiencing such an adjustment on the show calendar after many years, the importance of Motobike Istanbul has become even clearer for us to witness. We are looking forward to have personal encounters with passionate motorcycle riders once again during Motobike Istanbul in a much safer environment at a later date in 2021.”

We have ongoing negotiations with our domestic and international exhibitors, business partners, associations and suppliers to determine the new dates of Motobike Istanbul 2021. Once our new concept and dates are set, we are going to release an official announcement on our website and social media accounts. In addition, our e-newsletters with all up-to-date information will be distributed to our registered exhibitors and visitors as usual. Press members and journalists will also be notified of such news directly.

Please feel free to contact us by e-mail or telephone for your questions and comments about Turkey’s Leading International Motorcycle, Bicycle and Accessories Trade Fair, Motobike Istanbul to be held with a new concept at a later date in 2021.
